Taylor also makes a point to impart some of his wisdom with advice on how to live through some of the irking situations he mentioned Taylor s tone carries a hint of smartass without overdoing it and is mostly lighthearted, though it s still guided by a grim outlook on humanity.

Corey Taylor is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, Seven Deadly Sins and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven. Lead singer of rock bands Slipknot and Stone Sour, Taylor has earned 11 Platinum records, 43 Gold records, and a Grammy. A native of Iowa, he spends his time between there, Las Vegas, and his suitcase.

Funnt book

First and foremost, it is one hilarious book! I'm 3/4 way to finishing the book and my opinion of the book was made from the first chapter. I love reading what Corey has to say and in the early days of slipknot I always got the sense the man was smart, not just him though I'm sure they other guys are too, especially clown. I have laughed many times through out this book learning about his stories and his great ideas for those who would win the Darwin award of this world. Not everyone will "get" this book nor like what they read but that's ok, this one was definitely up my alley! I was half way through this book when I jumped on buying his first two books, which im anxiously waiting to read. As a sidenote, the looks I got from co-workers while reading this book was priceless.

Possibly the Best I've Ever Read

Corey Taylor takes thoughts on human life to a whole new level. It is a vulgar yet expertly written look into what makes sane people unbearably angry at the rest of our species. It is a perfect mix of gut busting humor and serious food for thought. Incredible book and no doubt the best I've read in a long time.

It's not the same as 7 deadly "sins" but since I enjoy the way he views the world in general it's a nice read. It's good to see literature in a very authentic, everyday human voice. It's like listening to a guy over coffee go off about the world in as fair and balanced a way as he knows how. It's everything it says it is on the cover. You like it or you don't and it doesn't matter much either way.
