A must have book for Document Examiners and Attorneys

Mr.Hilton's review of Document Examination is all encompassing. He covers the entire realm of documents made by pen, pencil, typewriter, adding machines, cash registers, check writers, impression stamps, paper examination and trace markings on documents such as latent fingerprints, impressed writing and accidental markings. He discusses how identification is made and more importantly, when identification can not be made. I have read his book many times, as a document examiner and highly recommend it to both document examiners and attorneys. Mr. Hilton covers what the attorney needs to know in preparation for trial and how to handle a questioned document case in court.

The basic book for an professional approach

It's very important book for people who usally work in document examination, especially at goverment labs.
I usally read that book every year (again & again!) and I always find something new for the documents examination.
In my country we say "It's the A and the Z of our work" or "It's the start & the end on our work".
It's a baseline book for every document examiner.

The second part interrogates the limits of SRI in making a difference. It questions the potential of SRI to create change but also proposes ways to increase societal impacts of SRI. The last section of the volume addresses the boarder issues of values and governance and shows how they are central in the SRI discussion. The book takes a critical but constructive stance on SRI with the objective of contributing to the capacity and ability of SRI to make a difference. Little research has been undertaken on the societal impacts of SRI. With this book we contribute to this debate, pushing the boundaries of SRI even further.

The first, "Seventeenth- and Eighteenth-Century Criticism," includes commentary by contemporary poets and biographers, among them Ben Jonson, John Dryden, and Samuel Johnson. The second, "Recent Criticism," brings together twenty critical examinations of the period and its poets, including essays by T. S. Eliot, Janel Mueller, Aldous Huxley, W. H. Auden, Joseph Summers, Laurence Babb, Gerald Hammond, Eavan Boland, Leah Marcus, and William Kerrigan. A Selected Biography is also included.

I have to admit I ordered this book for a class but I have found myself reading much of the content not assigned. The poetry of the time is different than what I am used to. It is very tied into the indecision of the British royals about the state religion.

Step into this shamanic story and bring back wisdom for living

The Last Shaman is a rich transformative story created by a master of myth, of magic and of the subtle power of shamanic learning. In it William creates a magical realm that seems to contain everything the individual reader needs to guide their own steps, within the form of its story.

I was held fast by the energy and action of the plot, moved by the characters and their stories of growth and breakthrough, and brought to tears by the ending. There is so much to learn in this book. William knows what it means to choose growth and a life led by the principles of truth, love and service. He has guided thousands of people on this journey and lives it authentically himself. William's deep understanding of the pitfalls and challenges involved in choosing to be a creator, as well as the magical breakthroughs and breath-taking potential of living from our true selves is served to us here in a compelling, vivid, inspiring and above all practically valuable read.

The Last Shaman truly works to the shamanic principles of its title. "Shamanism...is about a journey to another realm, where the forces at play in the dimension can be harmonized to create a corresponding harmony in our world" (The Last Shaman). My experience of reading the book was that of diving into a metaphorical illustration of my own life, and of the ways I could work through and transform some of the areas in which I was feeling stuck. Everyone I have spoken to so far who has read it has had a similar experience. Within the story I received insight after insight into what I was playing out, and was reminded of the simple tools available to me to challenge and shift that experience to align with what the truth of what my heart would love.

So many layers,

Ok, so it has taken me three readings of The Last Shaman and another reading of William's first book The Magician's Way to finally write this review. The main reason for the delay is the depth of this book. Everytime I read the book I unwrap a few more layers to the onion. And with the unwrapping, understand a little more of the message and myself. Now the message and meanings for me will be different to what they are for you. And that is part of the beauty of this book. Every person can take what they need from it, I know this because a friend of mine has also purchased a copy and we have had some interesting discussions brought about by this book. So grab a copy now and start changing your life for the better.

An exciting and fitting sequel to The Magicians Way, next steps and poignant reminders for fans of Williams first book also an excellent read for first timers and budding alchemists. A magnificent read i couldn't put it down.
